Sandy Bird :
Sandy Bird, Co-founder and CTO of Q1 Labs, has extensive technology experience
specializing in secure database design and development for Web applications.
He has worked with numerous organizations to identify better ways of managing
their current security policies and ensure that information is kept private
from unauthorized users outside and inside the network.
Prior to Q1 Labs, Mr. Bird held a variety of technical positions at the University of New Brunswick in support, development and administration. Sandy studied Electrical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick. He has spoken at a number of high-profile conferences, ranging from Secure World Expo in Atlanta and RISQ across the board to the national CAMP IT Expo.
Donald Hewatt :
Donald Hewatt has over 15 years of IT Services experience specializing
in IP related technologies with the last 5 years being dedicated to Information
Security. He has constructed specialized technical consulting teams for
Hosting, Data Networking and Security Services. His diverse experience has
been instrumental in the creation of many innovative security services in
the Verizon Business portfolio. This includes his role in the design and
roll out of the Verizon Business DDoS Defense Services.
Don's Team supports the security sales engineering for the East Coast of the US. His team is made up of Cryptologist, Intrusion Detection and Analytics experts, as well as Security Architects.
