<![CDATA[On February 7, 2012, the MS-ISAC Cyber Alert Level was evaluated and is remaining at Blue (Guarded) due to vulnerabilities in Mozilla and Apple products. On February 1, 2012, the MS-ISAC issued an advisory for multiple vulnerabilities in Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey applications. On February 2, 2012, the MS-ISAC issued an advisory for multiple vulnerabilities in Apple Mac OS X. Organizations and users are advised to update and apply all appropriate vendor security patches to vulnerable systems, continue to update their antivirus signatures daily and to review their mitigation strategies to defend against attacks on networks and web applications. Organizations should also perform web application and network vulnerability assessment on their Internet facing system to identify and fix any vulnerabilities that may exist. Another line of defense includes user awareness training regarding the threats posed by attachments and hypertext links contained in emails, especially from untrusted sources.]]>
